Project Mangalap: Padayon hanggang Makatulong!

Nature and Description

A group of first year accountancy students from Quezon City University will request tools, equipment and things used for gardening from certain barangays in Quezon City to support the Urban Farmer in a certain community. The gardening and farming tools that’ll be collected will then be handed to the urban farmers in a community. The students will also help the local farmers to plant and to learn the idea of planting. This project strives to promote and support our local businesses as well as our local farmers.

Strategies of Project Mangalap: Padayon hanggang Makatulong!

  1. Our team will divide the materials equally and execute the distribution efficiently.

  2. Our team will communicate to other organizations and faculties for help.

  3. Our team will study the profile of the people involved and communicate with them properly.

  4. This project will use social media, Google site in particular, as a primary tool in promoting our project. This way, people who will potentially donate materials can easily reach and acknowledge our project.

  5. Our team will conduct a location and choose the Urban family to be given.

  6. Our team needs to take the time to learn on how to understand our role as a communicator to bring confidence and have greater success for this project.

  7. We will strengthen outreach and engagement activities.

  8. We will  examine options to expand flexibility in our time so that we immediately respond to the needs of urban farmers.

  9.   We will explore ways to maintain program eligibility.
